Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to explore some possibilities of using fuzzy logic within an algorithm in order to improve its performance. The GRASP (Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure) method for solving the Risk-constrained Cash-in-Transit Vehicle Routing Problem is implemented. In addition to the classic construction phase, three versions that include fuzzy logic are implemented and tested. The presented results indicate that the incorporation of fuzzy logic within the proposed method leads to obtaining better performance.
