One mogu da se baziraju na postojećim Internet servisima, kao što su elektronska pošta (e-mail), prenos datoteka (ftp), pozivi udaljenih procedura (rpc). Ipak, puna sloboda se postiže direktnim pristupom transportnim protokolima (TCP ili UDP), putem komunikacionog interfejsa - soketa, i odgovarajućih sistemskih poziva. Tehnika koja ovo mogućava odgovara klijent-server softverskoj arhitekturi. This document presents basic techniques of EDI application development on Internet (TCP/IP protocols). The applications could be based on some conventional Internet services, like electronic mail (e-mail), file transfer protocol (ftp), remote procedure call (rpc). But the most freedom in the development could be achieve by direct access to transport protocols (TCP or UDP) through the communication interface - socket and appropriate systems calls. Those techniques are based on client-server software architecture. |
