Abstract:
Quasiconformally homogenous surfaces are those that have self maps of uniformly bounded qc constant mapping any point to arbitrary other point on a surface. Any surface qc equivalent to a normal cover of a compact surface is qc homogenous. We show that there are surfaces which are qc homogenous but are not qc equivalent to a normal cover of a compact surface.
