| dc.description.abstract | Internet danas predstavlja naziv za računarsku mrežu svetskih razmera koja povezuje različite vrste i tipove računara pod raznim operativnim sistemima. Ova mreža omogućava pristup praktično svim računarima koji su vezani u Internet. Bogatstvo servisa koje se u Internetu nude, čine ovu mrežu jedinstvenom u svetu. Meðutim, Internet nije mreža-svih-mreža, kako se često laički interpretira. Internet je samo naziv za jednu od nekoliko globalnih računarskih mreža svetskih razmera, koja je najveća, najmasovnija i najpopularnija. Internet je stoga vlastita imenica i piše se velikim početnim slovom. U ovom tekstu se prikazuju osnovne karakteristike Interneta, koje se izražavaju kroz raspoložive komunikacione servise i protokole, kao i način posvezivanja privatnih računarskih mreža i računara u Internet. Umesto uvoda je prikazan kratak istorijat Interneta. | en_US |
