dc.description.abstractWe prove an asymptotic formula, with power savings, for the sixth moment of Dirichlet L-functions over rational function fields Fq(t), which is the exact function field analogue of the result by J.B. Conrey, H. Iwaniec, and K. Soundararajan for the corresponding family and averaging over Q. Our formula confirms also the existing random matrix theory predictions.en_US
