Abstract:	Android is open-source operating system and it is dedicated to mobile devices. From energy usage perspective, mobile devices are limited compared to personal computers. Similar problem is with user interfaces for communication and interaction with mobile devices. Solutions for these problems can be found by applying machine learning algorithms. In this paper we present how applying these algorithms can make handling of mobile devices more efficient, which reduces need for energy, and increases battery life. Algorithms are separated in two large groups: those that are executed locally on the device, and to those that are executed in the cloud
