Ranked Set Sampling (RSS) is a statistical technique for data collection which has had an increasing popularity during the previous two decades. This method uses quantitative or qualitative information that is cheap to get to obtain a more representative sample before the real, more expensive sampling is done. In this paper we estimate some population parameters on the sample obtained by RSS method. In addition, obtained RSS estimators are compared with common estimators and differences are discussed in detail. Finally, one example of RSS method application on real data is given.en_US
