Abstract:
In this presentation, we discuss recent advancements in model specification testing, such as testing independence and goodness-of-fit tests, for randomly right-censored data, commonly encountered in survival studies. Although there are several approaches to deal with such data, here the focus is on tests' adaptation. We also explore scenarios involving a cure fraction and present novel findings in this domain. In particular, we present novel statistics and their empirical and theoretical properties. The final part of the talk will be dedicated to several potential directions for future research.
