dc.description.abstractThe Clausen functions arise in numerous applications. An efficient summation/integration method for the numerical calculation of these functions of arbitrary order is proposed in this paper. The method is based on a modification of an earlier method and it does not require the construction of the coefficients in the three-term recurrence relation for the corresponding orthogonal polynomials, but only a transformation of orthogonal polynomials from the real line to the positive semiaxis. Numerical experiments are also included.en_US
